Rental Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a driven and analytical Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead execution rigor, safe work practices, and safety performance improvement across the organization. Job Summary The EHS Manager is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across all Musang Rental Services branch locations. This role focuses primarily on safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and injury prevention across operational teams, while maintaining working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to an equipment rental environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, programs, and standards. Lead safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations; identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA and other regulatory agencies, including inspections and inquiries. Ensure audit‑ready documentation, reporting, and corrective action tracking across safety and environmental programs. Partner with HR, Facilities, Operations, and Legal to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate safety and compliance risks. Lead safety training, drills, and compliance education to promote awareness and accountability across the organization. Establish consistent safety standards and scalable practices as the company grows and operations expand. Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.   Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or similar credentials preferred.   OSHA 500 and/or 501 preferred.   Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a regulated environment.   Experience in equipment rental, industrial services, logistics, construction, or asset-intensive environments strongly preferred Proven track record of driving execution improvements across multiple locations or teams Experience directly managing teams and developing employees Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety programs Working knowledge of environmental compliance requirements Experience managing regulatory inspections and audits     Skills & Competencies Decision Quality - Makes sound, timely decisions grounded in data, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.   Drive for Results - Consistently achieves results and follows through on commitments in complex environments.   Managing Through Systems - Establishes frameworks and controls to manage work effectively at scale.   Collaborates - Builds strong partnerships across functions to achieve shared safety and compliance outcomes.   Ability to influence without authority across branches and functional teams Strong communication and change management skills High comfort working in the field and with frontline teams Attributes Execution-oriented and results-driven Structured, disciplined, and data-focused Comfortable challenging the status quo High ownership mindset with strong follow-through
