Manufacturing Software Product Engineer

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing software licenses, supporting product releases, and helping customers and internal teams with software-related needs. The job works closely with different teams to ensure smooth product delivery and a good customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver software licenses using company systems (SubscribeNet and FNO).
• Fix issues reported by customers or internal teams.
• Set up, test, and release software to production.
• Create and maintain software licenses and related configurations.
• Support customers with license updates, upgrades, and exchanges.
• Work closely with product managers, support teams, and partners.
• Provide advice on licensing and subscription models, especially for Lab Informatics products.
• Support supply chain activities, including updates to licensing tools (ACG).
• Track issues and prepare simple monthly reports.
• Support new product launches to ensure they are ready for manufacturing and delivery.
• Help manage products throughout their lifecycle (from development to ongoing support).
• Collaborate with teams like procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and field service to improve processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related fields. 
• At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience. 
• Basic understanding of software licensing and delivery systems.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and produce accurate, timely deliverables.  
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and organization.
