As a Sr Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a strategic level. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function.

You will report directly to our and you’ll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico or Clearwater, Florida location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the optimization of procurement practices, enhance profitability, and secure a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an indispensable asset to our organization's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and execute procurement activities ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity.
Oversee supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery to meet project goals within scope, budget, and timeline.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and negotiate terms to secure high-quality purchases.
Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a reliable supply chain.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies while maintaining accurate records

YOU MUST HAVE

3 of years’ of experience in procurement and project management.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Ability to read, write and speak Spanish
