EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable. • Undergraduate degree CERTIFICATIONS • [Include information as needed.] WORK EXPERIENCE • Experience in vendor management • Direct experience in working with IT vendors and executing outsourcing initiatives • Experience with compliance issues related to vendor due diligence and vendor risk monitoring. • Requires deep knowledge and experience with managing outsourcing execution initiatives • Must be familiar with bank requirements and policies to interact with all levels of bank management and all bank vendors FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Excellent project management, organization, planning, and communication skills • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and cross functional groups to problem solve, set priorities, and delivering results FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Demonstrates leadership • Communicates effectively • Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills • Operates strategically to support a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking • Makes sound business decisions in a complex work environment • Collaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectives • Is flexible, decisive, and able to establish support from leadership • Monitors industry trends and best practices and applies insights to advance the business • Exhibits and fosters optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Inspires innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Leads by example, engaging inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity • Iterative problem-solving • Serving as a trusted advisor RESPONSIBILITIES •• High Level Responsibilities: • Evaluate or monitor contracts to identify needed amendments and extensions and to assess compliance with contractual obligations. • Prepare and distribute requests for proposal kits, evaluation and selection packages, and information. • Investigate and recommend requests for deviations from contract specifications and/or delivery schedules. • Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine the reasonableness of all prices. •• Details: • Ensure performance expectations are meeting and/or exceeding scorecard goals on all KPI’s, including contractual compliance, expirations and spend controls; Accountable for the creation and execution of action plans when KPI’s are not meeting requirements • Establish and drive routine reporting cadence, data analytics, and produce dashboard reporting and other reporting artifacts to proactively identify emerging risks, issues, or challenges • Facilitate routine operating reviews with business and vendor leadership teams; provide “On the Ground” leadership and support, including coaching on areas of deficiency • Resolve escalated issues that are preventing suppliers from meeting expectations. Examples: training gaps, system challenges, etc. • Ensure new process migrations are methodical, timely and in control • Assess IT vendor risk and compliance on all engagements with vendors and various bank personnel as it relates to the management of the information that is to be collected, analyzed, and managed • Work under the bank's policies as it relates to vendor management, compliance, security, etc. • Perform analytic reviews and assessments on all assigned vendors to include: service level agreements, spend, trends, downtime, uptime, maintenance history, contract terms and conditions, pricing, timeline delivery expectation, etc. and present the results to business unit management and all internal and external examiners • Partner with business teams on vendor contracts, in conjunction with procurement/sourcing, to include relevant legal terms, business case, SLA/KPIs, spend, etc. • Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained and documentation custody is maintained • Document and maintain a history file regarding of program impacts (saves, efficiencies, etc.)
