JOB SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales person is responsible for a portfolio of Small and Medium Sized customers as well as
the support of the commercial organization as it relates to presales and post-sales activities which aligns our commercial activities with the corporate mission. This position will work independently to secure and contract business from the assigned and target accounts, update sales tracking tools and reports to the Sr. Director of Sales EMEAA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Sale
- Responsible for all Pre-Sales activities (from first contact over quotation process in line with corporate delegation procedure to deal closing/ signing of the contract) for the assigned portfolio.
- Maintain and expand existing Small & Medium Customer portfolio: sell Sterigenics sterilization and additional and/or related services to existing and new small & medium customers (Stat services, laboratory, validation, consulting)
- Proactively identify/ qualify (new) business opportunities within the assigned portfolio.
- Develop and improve customer relations thru regular / appropriate communications. Organize / coordinate plant visits for assigned customers.
- Backup for the Sales Coordinator Function.
- Responsible for establishing New Customers in CRM by:
- Ensuring the new customer profile form is completed.
- Completing the new product evaluation forms for various technologies
- Coordinating calls between functional departments
- Partner with Legal to execute Non-disclosure agreements
Post-Sale:
- Participate in coordination of validation projects involving new or incremental processing volumes in close cooperation with all parties as required.
- Work with both the Legal and Contract and Pricing on quarterly contract renewals, contract schedules, addendums, extensions
- Respond to various customer related questions including but not limited to pricing, quotes, turn times, quality, capacity, contracts and non-conformances.
- Generate quotes to include but not limited to revalidations, engineering runs, Special Service Requests and dose maps.
- Assist in collecting POs with customers after quoting and uploading in CRM in order to start project.
- Evaluate customers with reduced revenue and volumes to identify opportunities.
Additional tasks as required:
- Support the Sales Leader EMEA and account managers in the execution of their job.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or other relevant field.
- 1-3 years of sales support experience
- Proactive, self-managed, motivated and responsive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian, any other European language is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
