Subaru Service Technician Job Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Document all repair recommendations and completed work accurately
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Stay current on Subaru products, systems, and repair procedures through ongoing training
• Contribute to team productivity and customer satisfaction goals

Subaru Service Technician Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Subaru experience or manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Basic computer skills and ability to use dealership software systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
