Job Summary
Outpatient Pelvic Health Clinical Specialist, Full Time at WDH.40 hours per week located at WDH at our Marsh Brook clinic in Somersworth, NH.
Working in our Somersworth, NH location; This position requires two evening shifts per week, working until clinic close (6:00 pm Monday–Thursday; 5:00 pm Fridays) or Saturday coverage (8a-12pm)

Responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part.
They will be responsible for Physical Therapy Student and Physical Therapy Assistants as well as training new staff as needed.

Essential Functions:
-Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
-Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
-Provides individual, family and group therapy sessions for clients engaged in outpatient therapy
-Participates in the interdisciplinary group for hospice patients and the case conference meetings for home health patients.
-Participates in discharge planning.
-Provides initial assessment of clinical needs using standardized tools and protocols and facilitate recommendations for treatment.
-Records all pertinent data in the patient’s medical records.
Qualifications
Education
Doctor of Physical Therapy Physical Therapy required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Licenses and Credentials
Physical Therapist [NH license] - Required
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - AHA - within 14 days of hire
Experience
Experience working as a physical therapist in a hospital, rehab or Ambulatory setting 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Teaching others how to do something.
- Excellent problem solving, case management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
