Summary of the Role

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Thomson Reuters, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for our Corporate Legal portfolio, with a focus on CoCounsel and AI-driven solutions. You will own strategic positioning, drive differentiated messaging, and partner closely with Product, Sales, and Executive stakeholders to accelerate growth and market leadership.

You will operate as a strategic leader, shaping how our AI-powered solutions are positioned in the market and ensuring sales teams are equipped to win against evolving competitors.

About the Role

  • Own and lead go-to-market strategy for key Corp Legal products (including CoCounsel), from positioning through launch and ongoing growth.
  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and value propositions, especially around AI capabilities, content grounding, and enterprise value.
  • Lead major product launches and cross-portfolio initiatives, aligning Product, Sales, Demand Gen, and Comms.
  • Conduct deep competitive and market analysis—including emerging AI players—to inform positioning and strategy.
  • Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap based on market insights and customer feedback.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, synthesizing insights into actionable GTM strategies.
  • Lead sales enablement strategy, including core narratives, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
  • Drive pipeline and growth impact through lifecycle marketing and GTM optimization.
  • Develop executive-level messaging and support analyst relations, PR, and high-visibility external engagements.
  • Mentor and influence other PMMs and cross-functional stakeholders; act as a thought leader in product marketing excellence.

About you

  • 5+ years of product marketing or related experience, with demonstrated progression in scope and impact.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.

  • MBA, JD, or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience in B2B enterprise software, ideally in AI, SaaS, or legal tech.
  • Proven track record of leading go-to-market strategy for complex or category-defining products.
  • Deep understanding of AI/GenAI positioning, content-driven products, or knowledge-based platforms preferred.
  • Experience influencing product strategy and senior stakeholders (Director+ / VP level).
  • Strong expertise in competitive positioning and market differentiation, particularly in fast-moving markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business impact (pipeline, adoption, revenue).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including experience creating executive-level content.
  • Ability to operate in highly cross-functional environments, influencing without authority.
  • Experience mentoring or leading other marketers is a plus.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
