Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Architect to join our global Workplace team in Bucharest. This role is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise workplace architecture landscape, ensuring secure, scalable, and modern workplace services across the organization.
The position plays a strategic role in shaping the future workplace environment, driving modernization initiatives, defining standards and governance, and ensuring alignment between business needs, security requirements, and operational excellence.
This is a hybrid role operating within an 8x5 working model, with flexibility to support major transformation activities, governance initiatives, critical implementations, and on-call activities outside business hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain Workplace architecture strategy, standards, and design principles across the enterprise
Own end-to-end architecture for Microsoft 365, Identity (AD/Entra), Endpoint management, and collaboration platforms
Establish and enforce governance frameworks including configuration standards, security baselines, and compliance
Act as technical authority for complex workplace topics, including major incidents and escalations
Drive workplace hardening initiatives aligned with enterprise security standards
Lead workplace transformation programs including migrations, rollouts, and modernization
Define and evolve the Workplace CoE model as a hub for innovation and best practices
Drive automation, optimization, and service improvement initiatives
Ensure documentation, governance, and lifecycle management of workplace services
Collaborate with security, cloud, networking, vendors, and business stakeholders
Support service catalog definition, analytics, and reporting
Provide mentorship and architectural guidance
Working Model

Required Skills & Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management
Strong experience in enterprise workplace architecture design
Strong understanding of security and governance frameworks
Ability to design scalable, secure, and integrated workplace environments
Experience driving automation and optimization initiatives
Experience
10+ years in Workplace Engineering, Architecture, or End User Services
Experience in enterprise architecture or CoE roles
Experience in global workplace environments
Proven delivery of transformation and governance initiatives
Nice-to-Have
Microsoft certifications or equivalent
Experience with enterprise models aligned with TOGAF principles
Exposure to automation and analytics platforms
Salary range: 173,371 Ron - 221,388 Ron
