Position Summary
Production Leads oversees and coordinates the manufacturing process in a production setting. They are the front-line leadership that ensures efficient and productive operations while maintaining high levels of safety and quality.

Production Lead
Position Summary
Production Leads oversees and coordinates the manufacturing process in a production setting. They are the front-line leadership that ensures efficient and productive operations while maintaining high levels of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations and adjusting as necessary
- Coordinating work schedules and assignments for team members
- Ensuring production KPI’s and standards are met
- Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with HACCP and USDA regulations, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Monitoring the manufacturing process and ensuring product quality
- Communicating job expectations and providing feedback to team members
- Training and mentoring production employees when necessary
- Identifying and troubleshooting production issues
- Enforcing safety regulations and maintaining clean and safe work environment
- Collaborating with other departments to improve production performance
- Conducting performance reviews and managing any disciplinary issues
- Implementing and optimizing production methodologies and practices
- Maintains accurate inventories and manufacturing processing data.
- Reporting production status and data to management
- Works cross functionally to ensure daily and long-term plant goals are met.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Lead or similar role
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
- Good time management and the ability to effectively prioritize personal and subordinate expectations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- Ability to learn and execute on all production jobs
- High school diploma: degree in technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with some required office work. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required:
- Standing and/or walking throughout the shift
- Perform physical skills: hold, feel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and listen
- Lifting /Carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Use of both hands when required, some repetitive motion required
- Work in both extremely hot and cold temperatures as well as wet conditions.
- Have constant situational awareness
