Job Summary
Responsible for setting up, operating and assisting with maintaining various manual and automated production equipment throughout the production process as well as troubleshooting component parts, including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, and other vital technology. In addition, support company’s buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, compliant, clean and efficient. This position is onsite in Vista, CA. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality Control: Monitor production output and inspect product to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in production machinery.
PLC and Robotics Support: Make programming and configuring changes in automation equipment PLCs and HMI components.
Material Handling: Load raw materials, transfer parts, and prepare completed products for packaging and shipping.
Documentation & Reporting: Document production metrics, downtime, and inventory levels in logs or digital tracking systems. Record maintenance activities, parts usage, and system changes in logs.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and OSHA regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Secondary / Additional Duties
Facility Maintenance: Assure Facility activities are supporting Manufacturing, Distribution and Warehousing needs
Safety Adherence: Participate in Safety Team to assure compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safety procedures
Distribution and Warehouse: Assure activities are supporting Manufacturing, Distribution and Warehousing needs
IT Support: Assist in basic computer and other system support for Vista Facilities
Facility Management: ensures that company’s buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, compliant, and efficient by managing maintenance, security, cleaning, and clean room compliance
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical diploma or certifications in manufacturing or industrial operations are a plus.
Experience
Previous experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with mechanical and electrical
2+ years - Technical support in a Manufacturing environment
Certifications / Licenses
Automation Certificates or Certifications a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Must be able to speak and write English
Must have good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Proficient with multimeters, schematic drawings, and troubleshooting computer-controlled systems preferred
Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Compensation (California Pay Transparency):
The good‑faith annual base salary range for this non-exempt position is $32-$35/hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as relevant experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity.
