
HR Generalist
Job Description
- Provide HR coaching, guidance, and advice aligned with best practices, legislation, and company values
- Lead investigations and fact-finding on employee and labor relations issues
- Support managers and employees with performance management, development plans, and goal setting
- Act as a change agent to support critical business initiatives and lead effective change management efforts
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including orientation for new hires, exit interviews, and off-boarding
- Maintain accurate employee data in systems and coordinate with Payroll and IT on employee changes, new hires, and terminations
- Support the rollout of HR programs and initiatives that promote an inclusive and diverse culture
- Contribute to continuous improvements and best practices to influence HR strategies
- 4+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources role in the healthcare industry
- Progressive experience in employee relations
- Experience working in a unionized environment required
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management
- CHRP in progress or completed an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Previous experience with a HRIS & ATS
- Salary: $60,000 - $75,000. Compensation is based on experience
