This is a fully remote position that allows you to support students from your home office while collaborating with school teams, families, and related service providers to ensure student success.

Position Responsibilities
As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with student goals and educational needs
- Deliver virtual instruction and interventions to support student growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain compliance with Vermont special education regulations and federal requirements
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional development
- Foster positive and engaging virtual learning environments
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Vermont Special Education Teaching License
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Previous experience providing special education services in school settings
- Experience with virtual instruction or telepractice platforms
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management
