Compensation
This position is hourly and the hourly rate is $26.44/hour.

Position Overview
The Sales Accelerator Program (SAP) is a 6-month early career development program designed for individuals interested in building a career in commercial and manufacturing sales. Participants gain hands-on experience supporting Grainger’s field sales organization, focusing on customer acquisition, account growth, and value-based selling.
This is a hybrid role with anticipated start dates aligned to two cohorts: January 2027 and June 2027
Program Experience
Participants will:
- Partner with Field Account Representatives to support territory planning, customer strategy, and growth opportunities.
- Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions
- Develop and execute a strategy to expand customer relationships and drive value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as National Accounts, Sales Enablement and eCommerce
- Track customer activity and performance metrics using Salesforce
Post-Program Placement
Upon successful completion, participants may be placed into an outside field sales role within the United States, with a focus on the Western and Northeast regions. Relocation may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed between December 2026 and May 2027
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S.
- Ability to travel (15–20%)
- Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace
- No visa sponsorship available
- Leadership experience (campus, athletics, or team-based environments)
- Experience in goal-oriented or performance-driven roles
- Customer-facing experience (retail, service, or internships)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Interest in a long-term career in commercial and manufacturing sales
