*This role is open in Egypt but open to being based in other MEA Markets in
either Istanbul or Dubai.
About the role:
The MEA Portfolio & Performance Management (PPM) Manager supports the Head of MEA Portfolio & Performance Management Lead in driving strategy to execution. This role is critical in translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, managing resource allocation, and ensuring the effective implementation of OU initiatives to achieve in-year performance targets. Working closely with the Head of MEA PPM, MEA leadership team, Category leads, Finance, and CBIA, the Manager will play a key role in rolling out the OU's strategic agenda.
Each Manager role within the PPM team will have a distinct core focus area, such as planning & performance, innovation, resource allocation, or digital acceleration. Regardless of the specific focus, all roles are instrumental in driving growth initiatives across categories and clusters, enhancing organisational capability, and delivering strategic projects."
Role Responsibilities:
Category Execution Drive: Drive the implementation of category interventions in OU across markets, working closely with OU Category leads to ensure data-driven and fact-based decision-making around innovation, activation, and channel.
Portfolio Management Support: Support the Head of OU PPM and OU leadership in managing portfolio choices and optimal resource allocation throughout the year, contributing to the delivery of in-year performance with a cross-category view.
Innovation Pipeline Coordination: Coordinate and track the cross-category consolidated innovation pipeline, collaborating with OU Category leads to ensure progress and alignment.
Capability Scaling & Synergies: Identify opportunities and support the implementation of consistent approaches and capabilities across the OU, capturing synergies across markets and supporting the scaling of global capabilities/frameworks.
Inorganic Growth Assistance: Provide analytical and logistical support for inorganic opportunity assessments from an OU perspective for focus areas defined by Category.
Strategic Project Contribution: Actively contribute to and support cross-category strategic projects in partnership with Global and other OUs, as required.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
Significant experience in marketing roles within the FMCG healthcare industry.
Demonstrable global/multi-country experience in supporting strategic planning processes and translating business strategies into operational plans.
Proven ability to drive execution of initiatives, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance delivery.
Experience in supporting portfolio management activities, including resource allocation and prioritisation.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, guiding business decisions and performance tracking.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
A collaborative team player, adept at building strong working relationships across functions.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience working within a matrixed organisational structure.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with an understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
Ability to develop clear, growth-focused strategies and communicate them through compelling OU narratives
