Principal Product Manager, Matching & Recommendations

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the evolution of how people discover each other across our ecosystem, starting with Bumble Date and with an opportunity to expand into BFF, Bee and Badoo over time.

This role sits at the intersection of product, machine learning, and platform strategy. You will define and drive a unified vision for Matching that spans three critical layers: the underlying platform that powers it, the models and ranking systems that personalize it, and the user experiences that bring it to life. Your work will directly elevate match quality, trust, and meaningful outcomes for millions of people.

Operating with a high degree of ownership, you will partner across engineering, data science, design, and Trust & Safety to reimagine Matching as an intelligent, adaptive system. You’ll champion Bumble values like Curiosity and Courage, asking bold questions, exploring new approaches, and continuously improving how we serve our global community. AI will be central to your work, from shaping model-driven experiences to ensuring responsible, inclusive, and transparent use of intelligent systems.
