Job Title: Senior Surveyor – Valuation & Advisory (Residential Development)
Location: Birmigham
Role Overview
A senior role within the Valuation & Advisory team specialising in residential development. You will lead valuations and provide strategic advice on development sites, supporting major developers, investors, and lenders across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead valuations of residential development sites in accordance with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors standards
- Prepare detailed reports for loan security, financial reporting, and development appraisals
- Undertake residual land valuations and viability assessments
- Analyse market trends including sales values, build costs, and planning considerations
- Manage client relationships and take a lead role in instructions
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development and winning new work
Key Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate or related discipline
- MRICS qualified (MRICS)
- Strong experience in residential development valuation
- Advanced financial modelling and appraisal skills
- Proven client-facing and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of the UK residential development market
