Job Description

Nordic Knots was founded in 2016 and has grown into one of Scandinavia’s most recognised direct-to-consumer interior design brands, with the US as our primary market. We design and sell timeless hand-knotted rugs and textiles that transform houses into homes — rooted in a Scandinavian philosophy that favours quality, restraint, and lasting beauty over trend.

Our Stockholm studio is home to a growing creative and production team that operates much like a small in-house agency and production company: we concept, produce, and deliver our own campaigns, e-commerce content, social media, and editorial imagery entirely in-house. The work is hands-on, fast-moving, and genuinely creative.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Creative Producer to join our production team. This is a real production role — not just coordination support. You’ll have ownership of smaller productions from day one while working closely with the Executive Producer on larger campaigns.

The role covers the full production spectrum: from creative kick-offs and pre-production planning through to on-set coordination, post-production handoff, and asset delivery. On any given week you might be independently running a small e-commerce shoot, booking flights for a location job in the South of France, chasing product samples from the warehouse, or reconciling expenses after a campaign wrap.

This is a junior position and we mean that honestly — there are genuine highs (creative shoots, travel, building something you’re proud of) and genuine lows (late admin, courier chases, last-minute changes). We’re looking for someone who finds satisfaction in both; who understands that great production is invisible, and that the logistics are what make the creative possible.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

Own pre-production on smaller shoots: scope the brief, build the schedule, prepare call sheets, and coordinate all moving parts from first call to wrap.

Support the Executive Producer on larger campaign productions, covering logistics, on-set coordination, and any production admin needed.

Assist in developing production timelines, run-of-show documents, and shot lists in collaboration with the creative team.

Be present on set — keeping things moving, anticipating problems, and making sure the day runs to plan.

Logistics & Product Coordination

Manage the movement of product samples and props to and from shoots: organising internal pickups, courier bookings, and customs documentation for international shipments.

Maintain close communication with the logistics and supply teams to ensure product availability aligns with production schedules.

Source and organise props and set-dressing elements in collaboration with the stylist and Creative Director.

Coordinate studio and location bookings, and assist with permits where required.

Talent & Supplier Booking

Book photographers, videographers, stylists, hair and make-up artists, and models — both from our established network and by sourcing new talent when needed.

Manage equipment rentals and liaise with rental houses, freelancers, and external suppliers throughout production.

Help onboard and vet new vendors; maintain accurate supplier records and rate cards.

Act as a reliable point of contact for all external crew and suppliers throughout production.

Travel & Admin

Arrange travel logistics for productions: flights, accommodation, and ground transport for talent and crew.

Prepare and distribute call sheets, production schedules, and post-wrap summaries.

Track and record all production expenses; manage receipts and process reimbursement requests accurately and on time.

Support the team with purchase orders, supplier invoices, and budget reconciliation after each production.

Post-Production & Asset Handoff

Brief retouching and post-production partners with accurate edit specs and priorities.

Coordinate timely asset delivery to the e-commerce, marketing, and social media teams.

Maintain organised file structures, naming conventions, and asset archives across productions.

Support the team in keeping the production calendar updated and shared across stakeholders.

Who you are

This is not a first job. We’re looking for someone who has been around production before and knows what the role actually involves — the unglamorous parts as much as the creative ones.

Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar role — as a production coordinator, junior producer, or production assistant at a creative agency, production company, or in-house brand team.

Is highly organised and genuinely trustworthy. You manage multiple moving parts without dropping things, and people can rely on you to follow through without being chased.

Is as comfortable at a desk as on set. You can spend a morning building a presentation or working through a budget in Excel, and an afternoon coordinating a shoot — and you bring the same care to both.

Is confident with standard office tools: building clear presentations, working in spreadsheets, managing shared documents, and keeping production admin in order.

Communicates clearly and proactively — with creative colleagues, logistics teams, and external suppliers alike.

Has a calm, practical mindset. Priorities shift and plans change; you solve problems without drama and keep the team informed.

Has a genuine appreciation for visual storytelling, design, and aesthetics — you care about the work, not just the logistics.

Holds a valid driver’s licence.

Nice to have: experience with image retouching or post-production workflows. Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Notion, or similar). Fluency in both Swedish and English.

What we offer

A genuine opportunity to grow as a producer inside a fast-moving, creative company that takes its work seriously. You’ll have real responsibility early on, access to interesting productions, and colleagues who are invested in your development.

A collaborative, entrepreneurial studio culture where new ideas are welcomed.

The chance to build end-to-end production skills across stills, video, and digital.

Travel opportunities for location productions.

Competitive salary and benefits.

A diverse and inclusive team with high ambitions — and a sense of humour.

Nordic Knots is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experiences.
