Your mission:
Join our partner company Fidectus to enable energy traders of all sizes to digitize and automate over-the-counter cross-company post-trade processing. Fidectus' Global Energy Network (GEN) connects clients to all market participants and enables them to benefit from tools for confirmation, regulatory reporting, settlement, netting, financing, and payment. Their innovative, fully cloud-based technology enables energy traders to reduce operational risks and costs, enhance collaboration, and improve their working capital efficiency..
In this role, you’ll take ownership of expanding our presence across the DACH region, engaging enterprise customers, and positioning Fidectus as the trusted partner for digital post-trade transformation. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where initiative, creativity, and integrity define success.
What you’ll do:
- Own your market. Develop and execute a territory and account strategy focused on high-value enterprise and medium sized prospects in the DACH region, aligned with revenue and growth goals.
- Prospect strategically. Identify, qualify, and engage new leads through both inbound and proactive outreach, targeting decision-makers across trading, operations, and finance.
- Sell consultatively. Understand customer pain points, articulate value, and build trust by positioning Fidectus as a strategic solution partner — not just a vendor.
- Navigate complex sales cycles. Lead multi-stakeholder processes, from C-level engagement to contract closure, managing objections and aligning mutual expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with marketing, product, and tech teams to share market feedback and drive alignment on go-to-market priorities.
- Demonstrate integrity. Sell what has been developed, build long-term relationships based on transparency, and represent Fidectus with professionalism and trustworthiness.
- Stay informed. Keep up with industry trends, evolving regulations, and competitor offerings to stay one step ahead in customer conversations.
- Drive adoption and expansion. Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
Your profile - What you will need:
- Proven sales track record: 5+ years in a quota-carrying B2B or enterprise SaaS role with consistent performance.
- Language skills: Fluency in English and German is mandatory, given the regional focus of the role
- Self-motivated & autonomous: You thrive in an environment where you take initiative, set direction, and push deals over the line — even when paths aren’t fully paved.
- Problem solver: You approach challenges strategically, adapt quickly, and persist through complexity.
- High integrity: You build relationships on honesty and respect — always selling what we can deliver and focusing on customer success.
- Consultative & value-driven: Experience engaging senior stakeholders, driving business transformation, and articulating ROI.
- Adaptable & entrepreneurial: Comfortable in a growth-stage company where you must balance strategy, execution, and collaboration.
- Industry know-how: Knowledge of trading operations or back-office processes in energy, commodities, or financial services is a strong plus.
- Tools: Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
- Sales methodology: Familiarity with Challenger, Sandler, or other structured approaches is an advantage.
