Your Impact

The Social Content Creator is responsible for developing and producing social-first content that brings Lowe’s brand and corporate storytelling to life across social platforms. This role supports both Corporate and Brand social channels, with an emphasis on creating engaging, platform-native content that resonates with audiences and reflects current social trends. 

This role is a hands-on creative producer, responsible for concepting, shooting, editing, and delivering video and graphic content optimized for social. The Social Content Creator works closely with Social Strategy, Brand Marketing, and Production teams to execute content that meets both real-time and planned needs across organic and paid channels. 

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social platforms and understands how to translate brand and corporate narratives into compelling, culturally relevant content across formats including short-form video, motion graphics, and static design. 


What You Will Do

- Produces social-first content across Corporate and Brand channels, including  short-form video, motion graphics, and static assets  

- Shoots and edits content for social platforms, including on-site capture and in-the-moment content creation as needed  

- Develops platform native creative tailored to channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others, ensuring content aligns with best practices and 

audience expectations  

- Executes end to end content creation, including concepting, scripting 

(as needed), filming, editing, and final delivery  

- Partners with Social Strategy, Brand Marketing, and Communications teams 

to translate briefs and business priorities into engaging social content  

- Supports both planned campaigns and agile, real-time content needs 

tied to cultural moments and business priorities 

- Adapts creative for organic and paid social placements, ensuring content is 

optimized for performance across formats and placements  

- Collaborates with Creative and Production teams to align on brand standards 

while pushing toward more platform-native, social-first executions  

- Maintains awareness of emerging trends, formats, and platform capabilities 

to continuously evolve content approach  

- Manages multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality content within tight timelines

 
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree Video, Motion Graphics, Interactive Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or equivalent portfolio or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable

- Portfolio demonstrating social-first video and graphic content, 

including examples of shooting, editing, and design work across platforms 

- 3–5 years of experience creating content for social media, with a strong

focus on both video production and graphic design  

- Demonstrated experience producing social-first content, including short-form video, motion graphics, and static assets tailored to platform best 

practices  

- Proficiency in content creation tools across both video and design, including 

Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)  

 - Experience shooting and editing content using both professional equipment 

and mobile-first production setups  

- Strong understanding of social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and how creative formats, pacing, and visuals differ by platform  

- Experience developing visually compelling graphics for social, including text-based storytelling, branded templates, and campaign assets  

- Ability to concept and execute creative from idea through final delivery, 

balancing both speed and quality  

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
