Job Description
- Assemble and Tryout medium to large transfer dies for new tooling programs.
- Ensure tooling meets dimensional and functional requirements.
- Implement Engineering changes and ensure accurate updates to dies throughout the process.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD data, and job orders to plan builds and modifications.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and refine dies for optimal performance.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Program Management to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Tool & Die Journeyman card preferred.
- 4–5 years of experience building and troubleshooting metal stamping dies.
- Strong understanding of die construction, fit, finish, and surface quality—especially for Class A panels.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurement.
- Excellent mechanical problem-solving and attention to detail.
