Job Description
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Role purpose
The Tech lead is responsible to drive the BAU operation in the team from technical aspect, introducing and aware of the new services. The Tech lead also to support the Team Leads in technical decisions, other team members within
the team and get engaged in more complex operational issues and also focus to network as a service.
Your role as a Technical Lead
As a Technical Lead in Network Operations, you will be the key technical authority within the team, driving operational excellence and supporting strategic decisions across our global network services.
You will play a critical role in ensuring stable operations, handling complex technical challenges, and shaping the future of our network services.
What you'll work with
- Firewalls: Palo Alto
- Cloud & Security: Azure, AWS (Aviatrix)
- SSE / Zero Trust: Zscaler (ZPA, Cloud Firewall)
- SD-WAN: Cisco
- LAN / WLAN: Cisco enterprise environmentsű
- DDI: Infoblox
What you'll do
- Lead complex escalations and support engineers in security troubleshooting and decision-making
- Act as the go-to technical authority for firewall and security-related issues
- Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise firewall policies and security flows
- Contribute to architecture and security design decisions
- Drive operational improvements, standards, and automation
- Mentor engineers and elevate the team’s technical depth
What you bring
- 8+ years of hands-on network security / firewall experience
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewalls (design, troubleshooting, optimization)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise network security concepts
- CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent
- Ability to operate across operations, architecture, and strategy
- Experience with cloud networking & secure access solutions (Zscaler or similar) is an advantage
