The Digital Technology Senior Specialist – Production Solutions is a customer-facing technical sales and solutions architect role responsible for driving adoption and revenue growth of Baker Hughes’ digital production portfolio, with a focus on Leucipa. This role bridges domain expertise in production engineering with advanced digital technologies, including cloud and AI, to deliver impactful solutions to customers across the APAC region.

You will lead the technical sales cycle end-to-end—from early customer engagement and technical presentations to solution architecture, proposal development, and business case creation. You will play a critical role in shaping customer outcomes by designing and executing proof of concepts (POCs) and converting them into commercial contracts. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help customers solve complex production challenges using innovative digital approaches.

As the Digital Technology Senior Specialist – Production Solutions, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Leading technical engagements with customers, including workshops, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations focused on Leucipa and production optimization

• Designing and architecting end-to-end digital production solutions aligned with customer objectives and operational challenges

• Building compelling business cases and value propositions to support customer investment decisions

• Driving and executing proof of concepts (POCs), from ideation through successful conversion into commercial agreements

• Collaborating with sales, product, and OFS (Oilfield Services) teams to co-develop integrated solutions and go-to-market strategies

• Leveraging domain expertise in production engineering, artificial lift, or reservoir engineering to tailor solutions to customer needs

• Applying cloud and AI technologies, including hands-on development of AI agents and workflows to solve complex production problems • Supporting proposal development, including technical content, solution design, and customer presentations

• Driving customer success by ensuring effective deployment and adoption of digital solutions

• Representing Baker Hughes at industry conferences, technology forums, and customer events

• Co-authoring and publishing technical papers with customers to showcase innovation and thought leadership

• Managing relationships with a diverse customer base across APAC, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction

• Traveling extensively (up to 50%) to support customer engagements and business development activities

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline); advanced degree is a plus

• Demonstrate strong domain expertise in production engineering, production operations, artificial lift, and/or reservoir engineering

• Have experience in technical sales, solutions architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles within the oil and gas industry

• Possess solid understanding of cloud platforms and AI technologies, with hands-on capability to develop or prototype AI-driven solutions

• Exhibit strong commercial acumen with the ability to build business cases and articulate value to customers

• Be highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working across diverse markets in the APAC region

• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Demonstrate experience in delivering POCs and translating technical solutions into commercial outcomes

• Be fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred • Be willing and able to travel extensively (up to 50%)
