About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract, delivering safe, precise radiation therapy as part of a dedicated oncology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
- Position patients precisely for treatment delivery, ensuring comfort throughout
- Operate and monitor linear accelerators and related treatment equipment
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff
- Maintain detailed treatment records and monitor patient response to therapy
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (or eligibility in progress)
- Minimum 24 months of recent radiation therapy experience
- English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
- Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
