INDEPENDENT LIVING SPECIALIST

Location: Lackawanna County, PA
Schedule: Part Time (Some evenings and weekends required)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Specialist to support youth in developing the life skills needed for independent living and successful transition into adulthood.

What you will do
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and life skills coaching to youth
- Support youth in building independent living skills such as budgeting, employment readiness, and daily living
- Assist youth with education planning, career exploration, and job readiness
- Provide guidance on financial literacy and budgeting
- Help youth access community resources including housing, education, and employment services
- Assist youth in obtaining items through the stipend incentive program
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass applicable clearances
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
