Salary Range:
- Master’s Level Unlicensed: $58,011 - $81,224 annually
- Master’s Level Licensed: $66,040 - $92,394 annually
- Location: Loveland, Colorado (Orchards, on-site)
- Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: M-F, including 2 evenings until 7pm

Role Overview:
Responsible for providing on-going assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy as well as case management. Develops and monitors service plans, treatment progress, documents interactions and maintains clinical records and other reporting data for clients with behavioral health, disorders, and/or disabilities. Coordinates with internal as well as external supportive services to deliver needed services to client. Collaborates with treatment team providers.
The Behavioral Health Therapist participates as a member of the treatment team to provide a range of mental health and addictions services. This position will see clients of all ages yet will primarily work with children 4-26 years and their families, providing individual, family, and group therapy. Willingness to provide family interventions is a must. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working within a team, are well-versed in evidence-based treatment practices, and are seeking to grow their clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties:
- Provide services to clients as assigned by Administrative/Clinical Supervisor.
- Provide outpatient treatment services to clients ages 4 years and up. Direct client care, including care coordination, behavioral health related screenings and assessments, individual and group therapy, brief therapy, case management, and related clinical services.
- Train in and use evidence-based treatment models for a range of mental health and substance use disorders, including play therapy, family therapy, DBT, PCIT, trauma-focused therapies, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Provide on-going assessments, crisis intervention and case management to clients and their families.
- Develop and monitor service plans, treatment progress, and maintain timely clinical documentation and other reporting data.
- Have a strong understanding of how to adapt service delivery to meet the clients’ needs.
- Collaborate with other staff in a treatment team model by providing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services.
- Maintain superior customer service for internal and external customers by providing information and answering questions/requests in a timely manner.
- Document treatment plans, progress reports, group notes, individual notes, case management notes, letters, faxes and phone calls in Electronic Health Record. Follow the documentation policy and procedures.
- Follow agency productivity standards as outlined by SummitStone Health Partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the Human Services field from an accredited College or University with clinical license candidacy
- Valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and an insurable driving record
- Experience and/or coursework in working with children and families.
- Addictions Counselor training/certification or willingness to pursue
- Two evenings a week required.
- Proficiency in using computers and telehealth systems
- CPR and First-Aid certifications may be required for certain locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- CAS or LAC
- Experience with Trauma-Informed Care
- 1 year of experience providing play therapy and family interventions.
- Bilingual/Bicultural
