Job Description
Provide proactive monitoring and management of all active Inbound and Outbound shipments and ensure that any remedial actions are undertaken by the relevant group.
Provide customer support function for Market Operations (Outbound) and Business Group Supply Chain (Inbound) teams for all shipment related topics from the time a shipment is formally booked with the LSP Transportation partner until the delivery of the shipment to the final Ship-To address.
Communicate proactively with Logistics Service Provider to drive improvements in Delivery Accuracy. Manage exceptions with supplier and manage /resolve escalations respectively.
- Supports delivery execution and exception management in daily transportation issues by standard Snowdon reports where source data is OTM (Oracle Transport Management)
- Daily, weekly follow up calls with Logistic Service Providers (LSPs) to manage proactively the potential shipment delays
- OTM shipment planning support to shippers in case shipment creation fails (missing rate, location, etc.)
- Manage all NI logistics transport related request via JIRA ticketing tool
- Is part of implementation of effective logistics processes based on guidance from strategy.
- Supports development and management of economical and efficient transportation services of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintains and develops logistics partners / supplier’s network. Supports contract negotiations with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).
- Develops the profitable and efficient transportation processes from suppliers to HUB and from HUB to customers.
