The Temenos T24 Developer is responsible for the design, development, customization, testing, deployment, and support of Temenos Transact (T24) solutions. The role involves analyzing business requirements, developing local enhancements, integrating T24 with external systems, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring that solutions align with the bank’s technology standards and regulatory requirements

Job Description

Development and Customization

  • Design, develop, and maintain Temenos T24 applications and customizations.

  • Develop local applications using Temenos tools and frameworks.

  • Create and maintain Java routines, EB APIs, Version routines, Validation routines, Enquiry routines, and Services.

  • Build and maintain reports, enquiries, and batch processes within T24.

Solution Design

  • Analyze business requirements and provide technical solution designs.

  • Participate in system architecture discussions and design reviews.

  • Recommend best practices for T24 development and implementation.

  • Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.

  • Update local repository using code commit and adhere to the SDLC process

System Integration

  • Develop interfaces between T24 and external applications.

  • Support data migration and system integration activities.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Resolve defects identified during testing phases.

  • Ensure developed solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.

Documentation

  • Prepare technical design documents, release notes, deployment guides, and support documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations and code changes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, vendors, and operational teams.

  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions and technical workshops.
