To manage customer demand in alignment with plant capacity through different production strategy in order that inventory level is optimized
My day at EssilorLuxottica
- Follow up weekly planning & weekly inventory
- Stock sizing and control
Inventory control
- Control planned inventory versus targets.
- Compute safety stock and distribution keys for lens
- Monitor, control and improve inventory balancing to minimize obsolescence
- Compute quarterly provision for lens, molds/insert
- Assign product strategy in alignment with plant capacity
Demand management
- Analyze purchase forecast, and anticipate capacity shortage as well as possible service issues
- Review and challenge master plan
- Allocate available inventory to the demands from customers
IT systems
- Participate in system projects, and take the roles of operational system key user
- Others
- Understand company procedure and policies, as well as cooperate with audit activities such as ISO, OHSAS, etc.
- Attend the compulsory training courses such as orientation program, safety officer training, etc
- Have to know & understand the company procedure and policies and also comply with the company procedures, policies, standard as well as relevant ISO certification in audit activities such as TLS, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, sustainability, etc.

Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or any related field.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in a multinational company
- Experience in Demand planning, Inventory control, Customer service management, Negotiating, Building team spirit.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (usage of pivot is a must)
- KPI driven mindset
- Remarkable communication skills
- Strong logical thinking and problem solving.
