Public Relations Associate

Job Description : We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our vibrant communications team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining a positive public image for our organization by effectively managing our media relations and crafting compelling narratives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of public relations strategies and social media trends. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials to promote company initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR activity and effectiveness.
• Assist in planning and coordinating media events, press conferences, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to align messaging and enhance brand consistency.
• Respond promptly to media inquiries and prepare company spokespersons for interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling ability.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and PR software tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
