Field Mechanic I

The Field Mechanic I is responsible for the hands-on maintenance and operation of fleet equipment and trucks including repairs. This position maintains heavy construction vehicles and equipment such as backhoes, mini trackhoes, hydro excavators, air brake trailers, lowboys, Class 6, 7 and 8 trucks, other heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. They work closely with other team members to ensure that all equipment functions correctly and meets the industry standards and safety regulations. This position requires all trucks and equipment to be kept in good working order. The Heavy Duty Mechanic responds in a timely fashion to request for repairs, both scheduled and unscheduled. Their role will also be going out into the field and running a Field Service Truck
