P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations II

Huntsman is seeking a P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations II supporting the GBS located in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Procurement Operations Manager.

Job Scope

The P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations II is responsible for leading and overseeing procurement operations, ensuring alignment with company standards, operational excellence, and customer service expectations. This role focuses on driving process improvements, managing team performance, and supporting procurement strategy execution within a global environment.

In summary, as the P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations II, you will:

• Develop and implement the procure-to-pay strategy, including policies for change management, communication, and procurement-related processes and tools in alignment with company standards.
• Recruit, manage, train, and coach operational employees, setting objectives and maintaining a high level of performance within company guidelines.
• Monitor daily purchasing activities, track team performance, workload distribution, and operational KPIs.
• Define, plan, manage, and coordinate projects across regions and functions aligned with company and department strategy.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement actions to optimize end-to-end process performance.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, and Suppliers.
• Provide insights and actionable data as a center of excellence for purchasing processes, monitoring key performance indicators aligned with defined strategy.
• Create data visibility through operational reporting and dashboards.
• Ensure processes are documented and compliant with procurement policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and organizational policies.
• Serve as a point of contact for operational audits.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

All candidates are expected to work at our office in AFZ, Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please note that there may be occasions where additional office days are required, due specific business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
