Lifeguard EVENT ONLY

Overview

Sunday River is searching for lifeguards who want to earn $25/hr to ensure the safety and security of all guests participating in the Tough Mountain Challenge. These temporary positions will need to be available for a full, fun-packed day on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

The Lifeguard's typical job functions include:

• Observe all water areas and assure maximum safety of all Tough Mountain Challenge participants
• Learn all aspects of the Emergency Action Plan and be ready to respond quickly to all emergency situations 
• Administer emergency first aid to injured guests 
• Complete required records and reports on time 

Qualifications

• Certified lifeguard.
• Other water safety certifications will be considered.
• Must have current CPR certification with AED.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
