Compensation Information:
The compensation range listed for this role is based on the Stoneham, MA office. Final compensation will be reviewed and determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, and applicable work location, in accordance with Naviam’s compensation guidelines.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Summary:
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to work with Naviam’s software development team to design Naviam’s suite of mobile products with intuitive user experiences and elegant user interfaces. The right candidate must have the ability to learn our existing software products and be passionate about creating visually pleasing designs for Naviam’s wide range of users. You will be working with our talented software engineers in defining and implementing UI elements for Naviam’s web and mobile applications. While the position is focused on UI/UX components, front-end development skills are also required.
This is a full-time position with normal business hours and remote/hybrid work opportunities dependent on candidate location. We provide fantastic benefits and the opportunity to work with an outstanding team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product leads to design user experiences through outlining how users will move through Naviam’s products.
- Create prototypes or proof of concepts to assist and improve Naviam’s users’ understanding of company’s various mobile products based on users’ implementation requirements.
- Build dynamic user-facing features for Naviam various mobile and web applications.
- Keep up to date with best practices for web and mobile UI design and utilize those skills to optimize page load, performance, and scalability.
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively across multiple development teams.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in design, interactive media, computer science, or similar.
- 2+ years working in a UI, UX, or Product designer role
- High proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (as well as other Adobe Creative Suite software) and other digital design and prototyping tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented professional who works well independently as well in a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Material Design concepts.
- Proven track record in web and mobile UI design with sample work.
- Ability to learn new technologies on own without formal training.
- Strong comprehension of responsive design and current UI trends.
