Job Description
We are seeking a proven Web3 leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You have experience building from zero to one, leading technical deployments, and managing development teams. This role requires hands-on coding, strategic leadership, and deep expertise in Web3 technologies. While you will manage the team, this is not a pure people-management role—you will be directly involved in development.
Key Requirements:
- CTO, founding engineer, or lead engineer experience in a Web3 or high-growth tech startup.
- Proven leadership managing senior development teams using agile methodologies.
- Hands-on coding experience in Web3 environments.
- Strong background in architecture and design of scalable protocols and products.
- Deep familiarity with Web3 ecosystems, including account abstraction and smart accounts.
- Experience with:
- Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React, Solidity
- Scalable AWS infrastructure design
- Smart contract development and security best practices
- Proven ability to align technology, product development, and business strategy.
- Active participation in the Web3 community (e.g., conferences, hackathons, open-source contributions).
- Experience working in a remote-first environment with availability in EU/US-East time zones.
- Your Role
- As CTO, you will drive innovation and execution, shaping the company’s technical vision and strategy while actively contributing to development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee production deployments of SDKs, APIs, and smart contracts.
- Design and own the technical architecture and roadmap.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance in product development.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technology, product, and user needs.
- Represent the company as a technical thought leader in the Web3 community.
