Position Summary
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in Operations Management (process efficiency and effectiveness), or Technology (integrated planning, design, optimization, operation and control) or Logistics (supply chain, workflows and governance)
Required Experience:
7 years of management or equivalent experience. Ability to manage complex process management projects using technology as the key driver. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to work with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working at a large academic institution, or academic health center
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent writing, editing, communication, management, and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and colleagues from a variety of backgrounds across the school. Ability to communicate with NYU Dentistry and New York University leadership on all aspects of communications.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with scheduling process and systems; interest and technical acuity to seek out, evaluate, and apply appropriate new tools and approaches.
