Job Description
Join our Worldwide Grocery Owned Brands team to shape the quality and safety of products that reach millions of customers across physical stores and online channels. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives that strengthen customer trust in our brands.
Key job responsibilities
Monitor product performance after launch and analyze quality trends to identify improvement opportunities, working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain quality metrics, reporting mechanisms, and performance dashboards that track program, product, and supplier performance across regions
Conduct technical assessments of supplier quality performance and support suppliers in implementing process improvements that enhance product quality
Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Development, Category Management, Food Safety, and Operations to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the product lifecycle
Evaluate new tools, systems, and data management approaches to identify opportunities for automation and simplification of quality monitoring processes
A day in the life
As a Quality Manager, you'll focus on monitoring how our launched products perform in the market and identifying trends that signal opportunities for improvement. You'll analyze customer feedback and product data to spot patterns, then collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and our suppliers to address quality concerns. Your day might include reviewing test results from our latest product batch, presenting findings to category managers about quality benchmarking across our portfolio, or working with a supplier to implement a process improvement that reduces defects. You'll also spend time building reports and dashboards that help leadership understand our quality performance across regions, and exploring new tools or systems that could help us automate routine quality checks and simplify how we manage data.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working across multiple functional teams and geographic regions
- Fluency in English & Japanese
- Experience in trust and safety compliance, risk management, or quality assurance
- Experience in an operations analyst, data analyst, or similar analytical role
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Power Query, or Python
- Experience using managed machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions
- Experience managing the complete product lifecycle from development through post-launch monitoring
- Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable process enhancements or automation
- Experience in private label brands or consumer goods manufacturing, particularly in food and beverage products
