What You’ll Do

As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll play a critical role in patient diagnostics and experience. You will:

  • Perform high-quality mammography imaging following physician orders and safety protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout each exam
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to physicians
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures to ease anxiety and build trust
  • Position patients and equipment for optimal image quality
  • Maintain and adjust imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality
  • Accurately document diagnostic data in patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams on diagnostic interpretation
  • Prioritize workflow to deliver efficient, timely care

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:

  • Prior clinical radiology experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) – Required
  • Registered Technologist in Mammography (ARRT-M) – Required
