Job Description
PURPOSE:
The Logistics Coordinator verifies outgoing shipments and records data within the Company’s ERP system.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies outgoing shipments of finished product according to records and then records information or data within the Company’s ERP system.
Publish a shipment log.
Interact with freight forwarders and transportation companies to ship completed orders.
Will need to work in various computer systems
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to work any shift
Must be able to score satisfactory on pre-employment assessment
COMPETENCIES:
Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision
Prior SAP experience; other ERP software experience a plus a plus
Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company.
Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team environment
