An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Quality Responsible has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join our Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Team at the Getafe plant. The team is multidisciplinary and acts as a key bridge between Engineering and Production. The main mission of the role is to define, develop, and update critical quality and ground test documentation, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, interchangeability, and functional compliance. The jobholder will lead the integration of measurement software on the shop floor, act as a key focal point in digital transformation initiatives, and provide expert metrology support for advanced production programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Define, develop, and update key technical documentation (including Instruction Verification, Interchangeability, Ground Test Instructions, and Quality-SOI) by analyzing Ground Test Requirements (GTRs) and the Definition Dossier.
Coordinate directly with Engineering to establish criteria for Ground Test Requirements, preparing the Functional Tests and instructions needed for production testing.
Create and manage interfaces between manufacturing documentation and advanced measurement software (such as MAA for dimensional measurements, ESN-BMS for bonding, and QDC for Quality data checks).
Act as the Plant Focal Point for the QMGR1 Interchangeability Committee at the Getafe plant, defining documentation and compliance criteria.
Lead the Getafe Quality plant migration and adaptation of current documentation from legacy Microsoft systems to the G Suite environment.
Provide expert metrology support to production and quality teams regarding laser tracker equipment, utilizing Metrolog and Spatial Analyzer software, while driving new Quality Software implementations.

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
Strongly recommended: At least 1 year of experience in developing Ground Test Instructions, Interchangeability (ICY), Verification Instructions, and QSOIs with Quality measurements.
Strongly recommended: At least 1 year of experience implementing shopfloor measurement software (e.g., MAA, ESN-BMS, Metrolog, or Spatial Analyzer).
Technical knowledge: Deep understanding of laser tracker equipment and laser measurement software. Familiarity with digital workplace tools (G Suite).
Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a proactive mindset to propose innovative ideas and solutions.
Languages: Advanced level in English.
Valuable / Nice to have:
Being an APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Champion is a plus.
Experience leading Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) is highly valued.
Knowledge of French is a plus.
