JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Division of Arts and Humanities at Penn State Abington is seeking a part-time instructor to teach one section of THEA 102 Fundamentals of Acting, beginning August 2026. This is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates with a student-centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties

  • Teach one section of THEA 102 Fundamentals of Acting, scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • MFA or MA is preferred. 
  • Professional acting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience teaching at the college level is required.
