Description
This role plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience, developing high-performing teams and delivering strong commercial results across event and non-event operations.
You will work closely with culinary, logistics, retail and operational teams across the Etihad Campus to ensure the successful delivery of premium hospitality experiences while supporting collaboration, shared learning and operational excellence.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience managing high-volume or premium food and beverage operations within stadiums, arenas, festivals, hotels or fast-paced hospitality environments.
- Experience leading premium hospitality, VIP or guest-facing operations within a high-volume environment.
- Strong operational decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop diverse teams while maintaining high standards.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing labour, stock, operational costs and performance targets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business.
- Experience recruiting, developing and retaining hospitality teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems and workforce management platforms.
- Strong understanding of food safety, allergen awareness, COSHH and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Food Hygiene qualification.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, matchdays and event days.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a stadium, arena, live entertainment venue or major event environment.
- Personal Licence holder or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
- Experience supporting multiple premium outlets or hospitality concepts.
- Experience contributing to budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
- Experience analysing operational performance data and guest feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Manchester’s hospitality and live entertainment sector.
- Experience supporting succession planning and structured team development programmes.
