Premium F&B Manager

Description

As Premium Outlet Manager, you will lead the delivery of exceptional food and beverage experiences across premium hospitality outlets and event operations, driving operational excellence, team development and commercial performance.

This role plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience, developing high-performing teams and delivering strong commercial results across event and non-event operations.

You will work closely with culinary, logistics, retail and operational teams across the Etihad Campus to ensure the successful delivery of premium hospitality experiences while supporting collaboration, shared learning and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Event Delivery
Lead the preparation and delivery of food and beverage operations across matchdays, concerts, events and non-event days, ensuring exceptional service standards and operational readiness at all times. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, presentation and consistency while ensuring compliance with company procedures, legal requirements and environmental practices. Using guest feedback, operational data and event reviews, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the delivery of premium hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach and develop Supervisors and team members, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. You will support succession planning, identify development opportunities and work closely with the Training Manager to build capability across the team. Through effective leadership, recognition and support, you will foster a positive and inclusive working environment while consistently leading by example through professionalism, integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Commercial Performance
Drive spend per head, profitability and operational efficiency through effective management of people, resources and service delivery. You will support labour planning, stock control and cost management activities while monitoring staffing levels to maximise productivity and reduce agency reliance. Using operational data and performance insights, you will contribute to business reviews and identify opportunities to improve both financial and operational performance.

Guest Experience
Champion exceptional guest experiences across all premium hospitality operations, ensuring every guest is welcomed, engaged and served with professionalism and care. You will respond to feedback and service challenges in a proactive and solution-focused manner, promoting a culture where guest satisfaction remains at the heart of operational delivery.

Collaboration & Influence
Build strong relationships with operational teams across Co-op Live and the wider Etihad Campus, encouraging collaboration, shared learning and operational best practice. Working closely with culinary, logistics, retail and venue operations teams, you will help ensure seamless service delivery while contributing to operational planning, service improvements and wider business objectives.



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential
  • Proven experience managing high-volume or premium food and beverage operations within stadiums, arenas, festivals, hotels or fast-paced hospitality environments.
  • Experience leading premium hospitality, VIP or guest-facing operations within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong operational decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop diverse teams while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing labour, stock, operational costs and performance targets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business.
  • Experience recruiting, developing and retaining hospitality teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems and workforce management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, allergen awareness, COSHH and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Food Hygiene qualification.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, matchdays and event days.

Desirable
  • Previous experience within a stadium, arena, live entertainment venue or major event environment.
  • Personal Licence holder or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
  • Experience supporting multiple premium outlets or hospitality concepts.
  • Experience contributing to budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
  • Experience analysing operational performance data and guest feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Manchester’s hospitality and live entertainment sector.
  • Experience supporting succession planning and structured team development programmes.
