How you create impact
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive customer growth, expand service footprint, and deliver sustainable, profitable business.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring alignment of customer needs, priorities, and expectations across all relevant functions.
- Identify, design, and propose value-added Sea Logistics solutions in close collaboration with operations, sales, and the wider network.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline within assigned customers by proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Lead regular business and service reviews, ensuring alignment on performance, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee successful onboarding and implementation of new business, ensuring smooth transitions and effective internal coordination.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Monitor customer performance using defined KPIs (e.g. volume growth, service quality, pipeline development, retention) and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate systems, account plans, SOPs, and reporting, while leveraging market and customer insights to support continuous development and best practice sharing.

What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sea Logistics, freight forwarding, key account management, business development, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
- Proven ability to manage key customer relationships and translate customer needs into value-adding logistics solutions.
- Solid understanding of Sea Logistics operations, including import/export processes and implementation requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across functions in a matrix organization.
- Good knowledge of freight forwarding, including LCL and FCL, as well as import and export processes.
- Advanced English and fluent Norwegian skills; additional languages relevant to the customer portfolio are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, combined with a customer-focused, commercially driven mindset, willingness to travel, and alignment with Kuehne+Nagel behaviours
