Our Specialized Travel Consultants work in a high-touch service environment to book travel and accommodation for some of our top clients at Amex GBT. Working from the comfort of your own home, you’ll collaborate with your team to provide creative and timely travel solutions and an outstanding travel service experience. Overview:
Deliver high-touch travel services for entertainment, talent, VIP and production clients by managing complex itineraries and providing exceptional, proactive customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and manage air, hotel, car, and rail bookings, including multi-destination and complex international travel
- Support VIP, film/TV production, publicity, and press junket travel with high attention to detail and discretion
- Handle specialized requests (upgrades, charter flights, ground transport, group travel, excess baggage, talent needs)
- Provide proactive travel recommendations aligned with client policies and preferences
- Manage schedule changes, disruptions, waitlists, and escalations with strong problem-solving skills
- Coordinate group travel logistics and liaise with suppliers for accommodations and special arrangements
- Maintain accurate records, ensure policy compliance, and protect confidential traveler information
- Build strong relationships with clients, production teams, and vendors
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years customer service experience, including 5+ years as a travel counselor
- Experience with VIP, entertainment, or specialty travel preferred
- Strong Sabre GDS expertise
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-resolution skills
- Solid knowledge of global travel, fares, and routing
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and adapt to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Our Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation. We have specific colleagues dedicated to the night shift, however, please be flexible and prepared to work afternoon shifts (12-8pm) and weekends.

The US national base salary range for this position is from
$46,200.00 - $85,800.00The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
