Your role at Cabot
We are seeking a motivated People Services Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping the employee experience at Cabot.
This is a specialist role that requires a blend of traditional first line support skills as well as analysis and diagnosis of more complex issues.
In this role, you will provide guidance to HR, employee and manager inquiries through the Workday Case Management system, ensuring HR support is delivered in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
As part of this role, you will also contribute to the development, testing and implementation of BAU (Business As Usual) change requests and contribute to People Services project activities where appropriate. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our global People operations.

How You Will Make an Impact
Manage incoming HR cases in Workday, ensuring effective triage, prioritization, and resolution in accordance with SLAs.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing clear, accurate guidance on HR processes, policies, and transactions.
Troubleshoot system and process-related issues, supporting end-users and driving timely resolution of inquiries.
Monitor business processes and master data in Workday to ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance.
Participate in the semi-annual Workday release cycle by performing testing of new HCM and Workday Help features and regression testing of basic features to ensure no disruptions to current workflows.
Develop, test and deploy simple system enhancements.
Support HR SOX compliance requirements by assisting HR with control execution, training, and internal audit activities as needed.
Maintain translations of content within Workday (e.g., standard fields, help text, notifications, knowledge articles).
Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives aligned with the People Services roadmap.
Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring People Services documentation and Help articles remain current and effective.
Conduct periodic I-9 audits and reviews (for US workers) to assess accuracy and completeness in Workday.
Promote a collaborative and service-oriented team environment, demonstrating a proactive, “can-do” mindset and willingness to support evolving business needs.
Proactively engage teams/individuals to ensure that changing business needs continue to be met.
What You Will Bring to Cabot
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR role within a global organization.
A passion for technology, and a proficiency in HRIS systems, Workday preferred.
Enjoy finding problems and then coming up with/suggesting solutions – a professional problem solver.
Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, HR compliance requirements, and recordkeeping standards, with the ability to ensure accuracy and confidentiality across all People Operations activities.
Organized multi-tasker who can work in fast-paced environment and efficiently prioritize competing demands.
Superior attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Excellent English skills (verbal and written).
Additional Information:
Permanent contract.
Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30.
Health insurance from first day of work.
Monthly allowance & yearly bonus.
Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
Salary:1600 - 2200 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications.
