Physician - Neurohospitalist - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Corewell Health is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join our growing neuroscience team serving our West Michigan hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a highly collaborative, academically engaged, and well-supported environment with a desireable schedule and strong subspecialty support.
Position Highlights
Full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule with flexibility for extended time away
Consultative practice model
In person coverage at two Grand Rapids, Michigan hospital campuses and a teleneurology service to our regional hospitals with
Contribute to an academic environment with 6 neurology residents per year rotating on the teaching service
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including hospital medicine, stroke neurology, and subspecialists
Procedures including lumbar punctures, with IR backup available
Resource-rich environment with advanced imaging capabilities, continuous EEG monitoring, along with strong cardiology and infectious disease support
Candidate Qualifications
MD/DO
Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
Full Medical License, State of Michigan (or ability to obtain)
