S&E Operator

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Performing occasional use services, configure, test and execute occasional use feeds via satellite or fiber. Maintain and operate high end technical equipment, troubleshoot and fix technical issues.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• The S&E Operator is responsible for performing occasional use services (uplink, downlink, turnarounds etc.) for the company’s customers.

• Configure, test and execute occasional use feeds via satellite or fiber.
• Maintain and operate high end technical equipment. Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
• Responsible to the communication with company’s clients via email and phone.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Technical background (RF, satellites, video, sound, electronics) 
• Practical Engineer – RF, electronics, sound – an advantage
• Fluent English- Must
• French or Spanish language- advantage
• Available for minimum 4 shifts a week including Friday/Saturdays/weekends
