What this role is all about
The Junior Network Deployment and Integration Engineer is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and monitoring in‑house developed solutions for Mobile Network Operators. All solutions are deployed using automation tools and Linux‑based systems.
In this role, you will work hands‑on with production environments, contribute to automation logic, support Linux system operations, and work with modern server hardware components while collaborating closely with experienced engineers.
What you’ll do
- Work with System Engineering / DevOps methodologies, keeping up to date with tools and practices such as infrastructure‑as‑code and platform‑based solutions
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools, in collaboration with senior team members
- Support the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of alerting, logging, and monitoring systems
- Act as first‑level support for deployed solutions, helping troubleshoot issues and resolve alerts
- Contribute to team services and directly impact the quality, stability, and availability of our products
- Write well‑designed, testable, and scalable code in accordance with clean code principles
- Apply best practices related to high availability, monitoring, metrics, and logging
- Use technologies needed to put your work into action, such as Git
- Maintain and operate Linux‑based systems supporting production environments
- Work in an agile environment, contributing to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with a global team across different time zones
- Use AI tools responsibly to support efficient and high‑quality engineering work
Qualifications
- Junior‑level Linux system administration knowledge (comfortable with command line usage, OS maintenance, and basic troubleshooting)
- IT / systems administration fundamentals, with an understanding of how servers, networks, and deployed solutions operate
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to investigate and resolve issues independently when needed
- Advanced English communication skills for working with global teams and customers
Nice to have
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting approaches
- Familiarity with Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing systems
- Previous experience in IT support, NOC, or operations roles
- Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
