Senior Technical Accountant
The Impact You Will Make:
The Senior Technical Accountant is responsible for ensuring that Imagen’s growth through accounting and analysis for M&A transactions. As a true thought partner, this person will be vital in Imagen's future growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Own technical accounting across key areas, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), business combinations (ASC 805), and leases (ASC 842)
- Research, document, and communicate accounting positions for new and complex transactions
- Partner with teams across Finance, Legal, and Operations to support new initiatives and contracts
- Support close and reporting processes, including financial statements and disclosures
- Participate in monthly financial reviews with partnering practices
- Work closely with auditors and support audit readiness
- Contribute to M&A activity, including due diligence and integration
- Proactively act as a thought partner to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years in top-tier accounting (audit or advisory)
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 (required) and ASC 805 (required)
- 4+ years' experience navigating complex accounting issues and ambiguity
- 4+ years' experience driving analytical conversations with and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Knowledge or comfort learning AI and automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting for leases under ASC 842
- Financial statement preparation experience
- CPA License
