Job Summary
An Integration Engineer is an experienced/certified technician working with in a large team to complete customer orders. This tech will work on various computer systems and technologies to perform configurations, integrations, system upgrades, hardware/software troubleshooting, and asset management. This position reports directly to the Integration Manager and is primarily responsible for advanced technical configurations and troubleshooting.Role Description
System Imaging (using SCCM, MDT, USB boot, PXE boot, etc.)
Computer hardware installation/upgrades (including but not limited to memory, hard drives, and NICs)
Software/OS configurations on various computer and mobile devices
BIOS configurations and upgrades
Constant use of AX (Microsoft Dynamics) for order tracking, check in/out, asset information recording, etc.
Asset tagging and asset management with accurate data logging.
Communicate and escalate with sales teams, customers, ICS team, and management on a regular basis regarding customer orders
Establish and maintain effective working relationships during course of assignment to complete delivery
Explain/deliver/and communicate technical information such as networking information, system errors, and OS configurations in a clear and concise fashion that is easily understood.
Unpacking, packing, and kitting of hardware and components
May assist in creating build instructions for each customer/project
Independently acquire additional skills to maintain technical competencies
Ensure all client related information and documentation is handled in accordance to ISO 27001 requirements.
Assist other departments as required by the management team.
Skill Level Requirements
Ability to take initiative
Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
Ability to explain technical information such as networking information, system errors, and OS configurations in layman’s terms
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions/manuals, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer specifications
Ability to learn additional skills to maintain technical competencies
Other Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
Prior computer related experience
MS Dynamics / AX knowledge
2 years disassembling and/or assembling computers and configuring Windows operating systems
4 x GCSEs
Certifications (preferred but not essential)
Microsoft MCP
CompTIA A+
CISCO
General Vendor certification.
Unique Requirements
Extended hours may be required to complete some special projects
This position is expected to frequently bend, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time
